Paris Convention Filing: 12 months from earliest claimed priority
PCT National Phase Entry: 31 months from earliest claimed priority (an extension time of 12 months can be obtained -upon payment of a fee- for entering the national phase).
Substantive examination request: 36 months from the International Filing Date or Convention Filing Date
Divisional application: before the issuance of decision on grant of patent or decision of refusal of application
FILING REQUIREMENTS
Full name, nationality and address of applicant(s);
Full name, nationality and address of inventor(s);
Special Power of Attorney* simply signed by the applicants (no legalization is necessary). For corporate applicant, please clearly indicate full name and title of the signatory;
A simply signed Assignment* from inventor(s) to applicant(s), where the applicant is not the inventor;
A simply signed Statement of Invention Ownership (By Inventors)
Title of Invention;
Description, claims, abstract and drawings – in English.
Note:
For a Convention application, certified copy of priority document (with English translation if not in English). It must be submitted not later than 16 months as from the priority date. If the term is not fulfilled by the applicant, the application is deemed to be filed without Priority Right.
For PCT National Phase, PCT details including any Article 19 or Article 34 amendments – in English
Indonesian translation must be filed within 1 month of date of entry into national phase
if any of those parts has been amended, both as originally filed and as amended by the annexes to the international preliminary examination report.
Late Filing of Documents Power of Attorney and Assignment from Inventor(s) to Applicant(s) can be submitted within 3 months as from the local filing date.
