Although copyright recordation is not mandatory, a Copyright Recordation Certificate serves as prima facie evidence of ownership in the event of a dispute. We assist clients in recording a wide range of copyrightable works —including mobile, web and desktop applications, educational materials, databases, and other business-related works— by advising on the preparation of the required supporting materials, preparing and filing the recordation application, and obtaining the Copyright Recordation Certificate.
