Anda perlu berhati-hati ketika berencana untuk mendapatkan paten untuk penemuan Anda, terutama jika Anda perlu untuk mengungkapkan penemuan Anda kepada publik atau pihak ketiga sebelum pengajuan permohonan paten.

Mempublikasikan penemuan secara tertulis, uraian lisan atau melalui peragaan, sebelum mengajukan permohonan paten ke kantor paten, dapat mengakibatkan penemu kehilangan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan paten, akibat tidak terpenuhinya syarat ‘baru’ yang merupakan salah satu syarat memperoleh paten. __Intellectual property (IP) consists of any innovation, literary and artistic works, or any unique name, symbol, logo, images and design used commercially.
