Requirements For Overseas Applicants
- The registration number/copy of Certificate of Trademark Registration;
- Name, address and nationality of the current owner;
- 30 specimens sizing max. 9cm x 9cm, min. 2cm x 2cm + details of the Mark;
- A Declaration of use* signed by the applicant;
- A Special Power of Attorney* signed by the applicant.
Note:
- Declaration of Use should be legalized up to the Indonesian Consul.
- No legalization on the Power of Attorney is necessary.
Requirements For Indonesian Applicants
- The registration number/copy of Certificate of Trademark Registration;
- Name, address and nationality of the Applicant(s)/current owner;
- A Declaration of Continued use* signed by the applicant;
- A Special Power of Attorney* signed by the applicant;
- Copy of the applicant’s ID (KTP);
- Official excerpt of Deed of Establishment or its notarized copy (where the applicant is a corporate body);
- Copy of the signatory’s ID/KTP (where the applicant is a corporate body). The signatory should be the Director in charge of the company;
- Copy of the applicant’s tax registration no./NPWP (where the applicant is a corporate body).
Request for trademark renewal shall be filed within a period of not more than 12 (twelve) months before the expiry of the protection period of your registered trademark.
A standard trademark renewal requires between 12 and 18 months to complete.
Our trademark renewal services include preparation and filing of your trademark renewal application, notifying objections or acceptance of the application, advising deadlines for responding to Office actions (if any), acquiring and sending the new trademark registration certificate if the application is granted and free consultation with our trademark specialists during the process.
The following works might be required and shall be commenced upon your/your client prior approval::
- Preparing the response to the Office action in the case objections by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (the Directorate General);
- Preparing and filing an objection on the refusal of your trademark renewal application with the Commercial Court if your trademark renewal application is refused by the Directorate General.

Please send the simply signed PoA and Declaration back to us, along with other required documents, by registered mail/courier.
