The Required Documents for Recordal of Assignment/Merger

For recording an assignment:

  1. A Deed of Assignment that is notarized and legalized at the Indonesian Consulate;
  2. A Power of Attorney and a Statement of Intention to Use, both are simply signed on behalf of the Assignee.

Note:

  • Registration that consists of the identical or similar mark and covering similar goods are associated and should be recorded simultaneously.

For recording a Merger:

  1. A Deed of Merger that is notarized and legalized at the Indonesian Consulate;
  2. A Power of Attorney and a Statement of Intention to Use, both are simply signed on behalf of by the Assignee (the surviving company).

Note:

  • All Trademark Registration in the name of the same should be recorded simultaneously.
